Raised in the rural outskirts of Vancouver, BC, Canada, I grew up with an appreciation for all furry creatures, which also became the frequent subjects of my early drawings and artwork. Crossing the Rockies to Calgary to attend the Alberta College of Art & Design gave me a taste of independence, as well as a strong foundation in the principles and practices of design. Returning to the Fraser Valley with my degree, I worked for StudioThink, a successful design and marketing agency, for three years. After backpacking through Ireland and the UK, I decided a few weeks as a tourist was not enough, so I am embarking on a year long working holiday to Ireland with the SWAP program.

As well as my passions for design and travel, I am also a longtime member, leader and supporter of the Canadian 4-H program, a youth development organization that fosters leadership and communication skills with a foundation in agriculture. Additionally, for the past couple years, I have been a frequent dog-sitter, mainly for retired racing greyhounds. You can view some of my charges in my dog gallery.
